Through my love of Christmas, I was inspired to collect German santa candy containers. It was because of my desire to figure out how the Germans made these wonderful santas and belsnickles that brings me to my passion of reproducing German santa and holiday candy containers today.

I purchase antique rare santas and belsnickles and then have molds made for each piece. (not damaging the originals at all) Then I reproduce these paper mache pieces as closely
to the originals so they can fit into even some of the best antique Christmas collections.

All of my pieces are signed and dated. The pieces I make are all from 1890-1920. In the past year I have also added several Halloween, Easter, and Patriotic candy containers
as well.

As a member of Golden Glow of Christmas Past, I have met so many wonderful Christmas collectors. It is through their knowledge and willingness to share their collection that I have advanced my visual study of candy containers and Christmas traditions of the past.

I have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Canadian House and Home, and Early American Life,
as well as being chosen for the Directory of Traditional American Crafts by Early American Life Magazine.

Thank you for looking at my web site, and I invite you to contact me if you have any questions or if you wish to order that special piece for your collection. Wholesale inquiries welcome as well.

Keep the Christmas Tradition alive and pass it on to someone you love.

Thank you,
Kathryn (Kathy) Patterson
